Axel Stordahl - The Magic Islands Revisited

Swanky mentioned Axel Stordahl as a fave of his so here's one I ripped a while back. Its mostly mid-tempo orchestrated hapa haole (with the emphasis on haole) but there are three or four bona fide exotica tracks, like the first track which is classic exotica. Lousy of me not to clean up the cover but hey, I ain't charging for it.

Love this record! And I lost mine to sunlight exposure a few years back so this is really a special download for me.

it's over fifteen minutes long. Yes, it's long. Now, mammoth duration doesn't always mean good listening, but this track is justified, and it is basically the length of a record's A Side - in fact that's exactly what it is. Clearly the person who ripped it thought it was worth preserving as a continuous track, and was right to do so in my opinion.
